In Gladstone:

Since acquiring women's teams over 25 years ago, the women's game has gone from strength to strength at Central FC. In 2017, the club expanded to three women's teams and with more than 40 Senior Ladies players at the club, they have the largest Women's Football participation in the Central Queensland Zone.
