Currently Football Queensland North West is responsible for the governance of football throughout North West Queensland. In 2018 a social side was opened to encourage more women in Mount Isa to play. In 2019, the North West Queensland Soccer Zone minor premiership was taken out by Parkside.

Current clubs which field women's teams are Parkside, Tigers, Isaroos and Bulls.
